Compared with nickel-metal hydride and nickel-cadmium batteries of the same size, lithium-ion batteries have the advantages of small size, light weight, high capacity, small self-discharge, long service life, fast charging, replenishment at any time, and no memory effect. ; Disadvantages are: the unit price is expensive, the requirements for the matching charger are high, and the lithium battery protection circuit must be equipped to prevent the battery from exploding to avoid overcharging, overdischarging, and short circuit of the battery.
Taking the EB-HNN9013 battery as an example, the following is a brief description of the use of lithium-ion batteries

8. Ambient temperature for charging and discharging:
The charging standard mode (0.5C) is carried out at a temperature of 20±5℃ and a humidity of 85%, otherwise it may not be fully charged; the working temperature is -20℃~+60℃
Battery discharge temperature performance: at -20 ℃ (dischargeable capacity ≥ 30% of nominal capacity); at minus 10 degrees (discharge capacity ≥ 70% of nominal capacity); at 0 ℃ (dischargeable capacity ≥ nominal capacity 75%) -10°C (discharge capacity ≥ 85% of nominal capacity); at 20°C (dischargeable capacity reaches more than 95% of nominal capacity)
2. Precautions for the environment and time of battery shelving and storage:
1. The battery should be stored in a cool and dry environment, and the optimal temperature is -20℃~35℃;
2. The shelved or stored batteries should be checked at least once every six months and recharged once;
3. The battery should be put on hold in the open circuit state, and the battery should be removed from the machine when not in use to prevent damage caused by the battery being in an overdischarged state for a long time.
3. Battery configuration and charging instructions
1. When the battery is installed in the radio or removed from the radio, please turn it off.
2. Please use the special matching lithium battery charger, otherwise it may not be charged or not charged and the battery may be damaged, which may cause an accident in severe cases;
3. When charging, it should be carried out at an ambient temperature of 20±5℃, otherwise the rated power may not be fully charged.
4. A fully charged battery should be removed from the charger to avoid overcharging, shorten battery life and reduce performance.
5. Because lithium batteries cannot be overcharged and short-circuited, the battery and charger must have protection functions such as overcharge, over-discharge, and short-circuit.
6. Misoperation or other causes of battery short-circuit protection, the battery with zero voltage can be activated by charging the charger.
Fourth, safety warning:
Do not store batteries in damp, high temperature places.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire to avoid explosion.
Never short the battery terminals or reverse charge the battery.
Never disassemble the battery case.
Do not install batteries in hazardous environments.
Users should never touch the battery when their hands are wet.
Never use solvents such as benzene or banana water to clean the battery.
When the battery has noise, abnormal temperature, or leaks, please stop using it
Do not squeeze or hit the battery, otherwise the battery will heat up or catch fire

3. The production of batteries is controlled by spot welding inspection, assembly inspection, finished product inspection and shipment inspection during the process to avoid the outflow of defective products.
4. The company provides customers with a 12-month effective use commitment. If it is not a human fault, it can be repaired or replaced in time.
5. The effective service life of the battery: standard mode charge and discharge, after 300 cycles of charge and discharge, the battery's discharge capacity is greater than or equal to 80% of the first discharge capacity
